Bring the Music is Marguerite's third full-length recording. It's a departure from the Contemporary Folk and Pop genres of her earlier releases, Angels and Rising from the Night. It's 10 original works are colored in jazzy, bluesy feels, improvisational grooves, and accordion accents that suggest a taste of New Orleans. The recording was conceptualized with Conti's long-time friend and mentor, Ed Corey. Friends and colleagues for over 20 years it is their first professional collaboration. This release was recorded and mixed by Evan Schiller at Zulu Sound, Seattle, WA in summer 2008 and was mastered by grammy-award winner, Gavin Lurssen at Lurssen Mastering, Hollywood, CA. It is dedicated to Marguerite's late mother, Anna Maria Maranche Conti.
